The Boutique Hotel THE CATHEDRAL is located in the heart of the historic center of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in a very characteristic, quiet and stimulating area within walking distance of the Cathedral of Santa Ana, and other places of interest. Surrounded by the incredible beauty of the Old Town, historic buildings, stores and monuments. The Cathedral Hotel is part of a lovingly restored 1890's building.
THE CATHEDRAL Boutique Hotel opened its doors at the end of 2017. It is located in a building built in 1890 and was designed with love, even the smallest details are important to us, knowing what the customer needs at all times.
The name comes from its location as the Cathedral of Santa Ana is only 1 minute away from the hotel. Therefore the main design element is dedicated to the history of the building and the Cathedral.
The design plays with the original contrast of the building and modernity - the exposed stone gives a glimpse of the life of the building, with its original appearance and at the same time accompanied with new and natural materials.
"This is one of my favorite places and that means a lot, because I spent almost 60 nights in hotels last year. The Hotel is small, well located, and on a very quiet street. The owner, Guillermo, is extremely welcoming, and serves an excellent breakfast. a perfect 1 week stay!"
